Some rules about living with your
neighbours :
In order to ensure good well being and safety for all, you
are kindly requested to follow these general rules :
- lawn mowers and other noisy machines may only be used at
the following hours :
weekdays : 08h00-12h00/14h00-19h30 Saturdays : 09h00-12h00/15h00-19h
Sundays and holidays : 10h00-12h00. Rubbish bins should be
put out the night before collection and brought in the next
day.
- Do not burn garden refuse; take to the "déchetterie"
(see below)
- do not let pets roam unaccompanied,
- take care not to walk on lawn areas or to disturb planted
flowers,
- enquire at the Town Hall for rules regarding the use of
the municipal stadium,
- keep hedges regularly trimmed,
- ensure that mail boxes are readily accessible to postman
or obtain a « cidex »,
(i.e. a local collective grouping of mail boxes) through the
Post Office,
- keep entrance ways cleared of snow.
Household and other waste disposal

Household rubbish pick-up schedule : rubbish bins are to be
placed on the pavement, the evening prior to pick-up, in front
of each residence, according to the following schedules :
Brétigny - Tuesday and Thursday

Prévessin - Tuesday and

The personnel at the town hall (Mairie) can put you in contact
with someone who speaks English (if desired). Please telephone
